Hobart Intl (HBA):
Location: 16 km/10 miles E of the City.
Airport Overview: At present there are 2 terminals a short distance apart and easily walkable. One terminal is used for Qantas and Virgin Blue flights, and the other, called the International Terminal serves Jetstar.
By Taxi: A$31-37/20 mins to the City centre. Prices increase between 2000 & 0600 and at weekends and public holidays by ~$5. Note: A $2 airport charge may apply to taxi fares departing the airport. City Cabs 131008.

Thrifty is outside the terminal across the road in the Car Rental Building. Ascot & Lo-Cost Auto Rent are opposite the terminal, through the car park to the office at the end of the admin building. Airporter Shuttle to Hobart City: | Tasmanian Redline Coaches runs an Airporter Shuttle service to the City. Route: The bus runs to the Coach Terminal at 199 Collins Street, and buses go south as far as Wrest Point Casino, a loop through the City and north along Argyle Street as far as the Tower Motel. Timings: Buses connect with every arriving and departing flight, and depart the airport after all passengers have claimed baggage. Buses leaving the city usually have passengers at the airport 45 mins brfore flights. If you are departing Hobart on an early flight (before 0730) you must make a booking by 2000 the previous evening on 0419 382 240 or 0419 383 462. King Island (KNS):
Location: 6 km/4 Miles NNE of Currie.

Launceston (LST):
Location: 13 km/8 Miles SSE of the city centre.
Airport Overview: One terminal building divided into 2 arrivals areas: one for Qantas & Jetstar and the other for Virgin Blue. Buses and taxis stop right in front of the terminal.
By Taxi: ~$30-35 per car to the city (4-5 passengers). At weekends and at night prices rise by ~$5. Takes 15-20 mins. Note: A $2 airport charge may apply to taxi fares departing the airport. Taxi Combined Services 13 2227.
By Bus: Airporter Shuttle Bus operates a door to door Shuttle service to and from the city for A$14 one way ($5 for children under 10). Return $24. Buy tickets on the bus. It runs every day and meets all arriving flights. To arrange transfer to the airport call (03) 6343 6677.

Wynyard - Burnie (BWT):
Location: 500m/ΒΌ Mile S of Wynyard town centre & 14 km/9 Miles WNW of Burnie.
Note: Although this airport is within the city limits of Wynyard, it is officially known as Burnie Airport. Most locals refer to it as Wynyard Airport.
On Foot: You can walk to the main street in Wynyard in about 10-15 mins.
By Road: To Burnie 18 km/11 Miles. To Smithton 68 km/42 Miles.
By Taxi: To Burnie ~30 mins. Burnie/Wynyard Taxis (03) 6431 2199.
By Bus: Burnie Airbus (0439 322 466) meets most flights but reservations are recommended. Cost $30 one way to Burnie, but an excess may be charged for very early flights. Get tickets from the driver. Local buses run from nearby Wynyard town centre (Jackson St) and run to Burnie via Seabrook, Somerset & Cooee several times a day Mon-Fri only. Tel 132 201.
