Airport Overview: One very modern terminal with departures upstairs and arrivals downstairs. Buses run from the lower level.
By Taxi: To the city centre ~CLP 12 000 (or CLP 13 000 on the autopista)/US$23-28/~30 mins. For the trip from the city to the airport expect to pay ~CLP 10 000. Make sure the meter is running and started at the base (~CLP 220) and you have small change. Tipping taxis is not customary but appreciated. Expect to be swamped by numerous taxi touts as you exit the arrivals area.

General: | Buses at the airport depart from outside the arrivals (lower) level. Drop offs are on the upper (departures level). |
Centro Puerto Bus: | The CentroPuerto bus runs to the Los Héroes bus terminal, close to Los Héroes Metro station in Santiago city, every 10 mins. It takes 40 mins to get to the airport. Services call at Terminal Pajaritos on the way (for metro and bus connections). Cost: CLP 1400 one-way/CPL 2500 round trip. |
Transfer Shuttle Bus: | This bus is operated by a company called Transfer. The fares are CLP 2200 to the centre, CLP 2600 to Providencia & CLP 3000 to Las Condes |
Tur City Buses: | The Tur Bus runs from the airport to the Tur Bus Terminal in the city via Pajaritos Metro station. Buses from the airport leave from the stops right outside arrivals every 30 mins 0645-2145. Buses from the city depart from the Tur Bus terminal at Moneda 1527 (near metro station Moneda) every ~15 mins 0530-2230 on business days and 0530-2200 at weekends & holidays. To the airport CLP 1400/~US$3. Takes 30-40 mins. Route: Moneda Terminal - Plaza Kyiv (100m E of Los Heroes Metro station) - Opposite the main train station on Avenida Libertador B O'Higgins - Terminal Pajaritos (a combined bus/metro station with buses to many destinations) - Bus stop outside the Hotel Diego de Almagro - Cargo Terminal - Passenger Terminal. Long distance buses: | For buses to Valparaiso, Viña del Mar and other cities, take the Tur or Centropuerto buses to Terminal Pajaritos (15 mins) and then connect to other buses there. According to my visit in May05, there are no services to Valparaiso & Viña del Mar directly from the airport. |

On-Airport Rental Car Providers: | AVIS, ALAMO/National, Hertz, Budget, Econorent & Rosselot have desks on the first floor of the airport in 2 areas: Arrivals (just before baggage reclaim) and the W side of the airport's public area. |
Airport Tax: Intl departure tax US$26, but now usually included in the ticket price.
Money Services: ATM/Cash machine on level 2.
Notes: Left luggage is on the lower level. CLP 2000 per bag per day. Hotel booking desk is in the baggage hall.
