Location: 5 km/3 Miles S of the City.
Airport Overview: In addition to the regular passenger terminal, Qatar Airways has recently opened a Premium class terminal, solely for passengers travelling in their first and business cabins. It is a short distance away from the main terminal.
On Foot: It is possible to walk to Doha in about 40 mins.
By Taxi: To Doha city centre bus station ~QAR 25. To the main hotel area in the city ~QAR 35. Transport in Qatar is generally safe and there is no need to tip.

| Bus #119 to Al Wakra & Doha: | Route 119: Al Ghanim Bus Station - Airport Terminal - Rus Abu Funtas - Al Wakra Fire Station - Al Wakra South. Timings: Buses leave the airport terminal heading to Al Ghanim Bus Station Sun-Thu every hour 0550-2350. Friday every hour 0650-2350. Buses leave the airport terminal heading to Al Wakra Sun-Thu every hour 0545-2245 & 2340. Fridays every ~60 mins 0542-2342. Travel Times: To Al Ghanim Bus Station 15 mins. To Al Wakra ~30 mins. Cost: QAR 3. |
| Bus #109 to Al Wakra & Doha: | Bus route 109 passes close to the airport but does not call at the terminal. Cost: QAR 3. |
| Hotel Buses: | There are a number of 5 star hotels in Doha, such as the Sheraton, Marriott, Ritz-Carlton, Intercontinental and Four Seasons which run buses for passengers to and from Doha Airport. |

Car Parking: There are 900 parking spaces outside the departure and arrival halls. In addition there are covered short term parking spaces that cost between QAR 4 and QAR 96 per day. There is a long term car park which costs QAR 2 per hour or QAR 45 per day.
Baggage Storage: Left luggage facilities are reported to be available.
