Windsor (YQG):
Location: 10 km/6 miles SE of Windsor, 12 km/7 miles SE of Detroit, MI.
By Taxi: Veteran's Cab Canada (519) 256-2621.
By Bus: The Walkerville 8 bus run by Transit Windsor stops at the Airport en-route to the Downtown Bus Terminal windsor ~every 40 mins Mon-Fri 0600-1840. Less frequent at weekends. Takes 35 mins to the city.
By Shuttle Van: Windsor Airport Shuttle Service: (Tel 519 796 4634) Personal Transportation will pick you up at Windsor Airport and drive you to connecting flights at Detroit Metro Airport or to your destination, in Windsor or Detroit. To Downtown Windsor or Detroit US$40.
Airport to Airport: Windsor Airport Shuttle Service: to Detroit Metro Airport US$65, however as of 01 Nov 03, the new rate from Windsor Airport to Detroit Metro Airport is C$70, including all taxes and tolls.

Car Parking: Current Parking Rates: Hourly Lot C$0.25/10 mins, Economy Lot $1.25/hr, max $8.50/day or $42.50/week.

Note: Windsor Airport is actually closer to downtown Detroit and Windsor than Detroit Metropolitan Airport is. In fact, many travellers to Detroit routinely fly from Windsor. Wireless internet available in the terminal at a cost.
