By Bus: AirAsia provides a shuttle van from the airport to Hat Yai, Thailand. Shuttles depart 2 hour 30 mins before Air Asia flight departures from Alor Star. The pick up point in Hat Yai is Hat Yai S.B. Travel & Tours (Opposite Central Sukhonta Hotel). Cost: MYR 25 or THB 280. 2 or 3 days notice is required for bookings. Location: 20 km/13 Miles NNW of Johor Bahru, 5 km/3 Miles NE of Senai & 43 km/27 Miles NNW of Singapore across the Johore Strait.
By Road: 32 km/20 Miles from Johor Bahru.
By Taxi: Taxis are available from the taxi counter in the terminal. Senai International Airport Taxi. Tel +607 5991 622. Flat fare of MYR 40 to any destination in the Johor Bahru area, and SGP$50 to Rochor Road in Singapore. Fares to other parts of Singapore are in the range MYR 80-160. Dian Taxi +60 (0)7 351 5151. | MAS Shuttle Bus: | For MAS ticket holders only. Connects with MAS flights. Runs to the Copthorne Orchid Hotel in Singapore. Tel 1 300 88 3000. |
| Other buses: | There are several alternative services available from Kota Raya II and Larkin terminals, but this is the only direct cross border service. Recommended route is to take any service to Larkin Bus terminal then the Singapore Johore Express (SJE). It costs MYR 2.40 and runs every 10 mins or so. |
By Train: The airport has no rail link, but there are train stations in Senai and Johor Bahru city centre with intercity services.
Rental Cars: AVIS 607 599 5380 or 224 4824, Dialta 598 1677, HERTZ 223 7570 & Orix 227 2118 have counters in the terminal. Not all companies allow card to go to Singapore, so check first.

By Taxi: To the city centre MYR 15-20/15 mins.
By Bus: SKMK Bus #9 runs to the central market and the bus station in the city.

Langkawi (LGK):
Location: Located in the SW Part of the Island, 13 km/8 Miles W of Kuah town.
By Taxi: To Langkawi Village resort MYR 16/15 mins. To Kuah Town MYR 20-30/30 mins, Pantai Kok MYR 17, Teluk Datai MYR 45, Tanjung Rhu MYR 28 & Pantai Cenang MYR 18. Pre-paid coupons can be bought in the terminal, and will avoid overcharging. Tel 04 955 1800 (Airport) 04 966 5249 (Kuah Town).

Location: At the north of Pulau Pangkor Island near Teluk Dalam. 2 km/1 Mile NE of Teluk Nipah. 5 km/3 Miles N of Pangkor Town & Pasir Bogak.

By Bus: Yellow Bus #83 goes to Georgetown via Pengkalan Weld, Komtar (where Penang's main bus station is) and Lebuh Chulia. It runs every hour 0600-2100. Cost: MYR 1.60/60 mins+.
