Location: 11 km/7 Miles ENE of Manhattan.
Airport Overview: 4 Main terminals: Delta Terminal (or terminal D), US Airways Terminal (or terminal C), Central Terminal Buildinmg (CTB or terminal B) & The Marine Air Terminal (sometimes called terminal A). It is possible to walk between all terminals except the Marine Air Terminal, however free shuttle buses are provided. They run on 2 different Routes: Red Route (All terminals and parking lots): every 15 mins 0500-2330. Blue Route (All terminals and parking lotsexcept the Marine Air Terminal): every 10 mins 0600-0200.
Airline Locations: Delta Terminal: Delta Airlines (except Delta Shuttle). US Airways Terminal: US Airways, US Airways Shuttle & US Airways Express. Central Terminal Building (CTB): Air Canada, AirTran, America Trans Air ATA, American, American Eagle, CanJet. Continental, Continental Express, Frontier, JetBlue, Midwest, Spirir, United, United Express & WestJet. The CTB is divided into 4 concourses A-D. Marine Air Terminal is for Delta Shuttle, SheltAir & General Aviation.

General: | Location: Exit the baggage hall by following the taxi signs round to the right. Turn the corner and you will see a taxi dispatcher's desk with taxis waiting. Fares and other information are posted. There is usualyy a good supply of taxis even late at night. Meters: Taxi meters are used and work as follows: Initial charge: $3. Then $0.40 per fifth of a mile or per minute stopped. $1 surcharge applies weekdays 1600-2000. $0.50 surcharge applies at night (2000-0600). Tolls and extra charges to Manhattan are around $6. To Manhattan: Downtown (Lower Manhattan) $26-30 plus tolls/30-50 mins. Midtown Manhattan $24-28 + tolls. Uptown Manhattan $21-25 + tolls. Other destinations: Between terminals at La Guardia Airport $5-9. Citi Field $9-13. Queens Main St (Kew Gardens) $15-19. Kennedy Airport $28-32. Downtown Brooklyn $23-27. Coney Island $48-52. Co-op City $35-39. Bronx (The Hub) $17-21. Riverdale $29-33. Staten Island $53-58. Newark Airport $63-67 + $15 surcharge. Note: All fares are per taxi not per person. MTA Q70 Bus to Roosevelt Ave-Jackson Heights subway station: | Operates from terminals B, C & D (not the Marine Air Terminal) to nearby Subway stations. Route: Airport (All terminals except the Marine Air Terminal) - Roosevelt Ave/Jackson Heights subway station - 61 St Woodside Subway Station. From either Subway station, connect to points all over city via lines E, F, G, R & 7. Note: At the subway station, the bus staion is downstairs. Timings: Buses run 7 days a week, 24 hrs a day at varying intervals. 0500-0700 every 320 mins, 0700-2200 every 12-15 mins & every 30 mins 2200-0500. Cost: $2.50 Payable in cash or with a Metrocard. MTA Q48 Bus to Main St Flushing subway & LIRR station: | Operates from all terminals, to nearby Subway station Main St Flushing. Route: Airport (All terminals) - 23 Ave - Ditmars Blvd - 31 Dr - 108 St - Roosevelt Ave - Main St Flushing. From the Subway station connect to points all over city via line 7. There is also a LIRR (Long Island Railroad) station at Main St Flushing. You can connect here to destinations on Long Island or Manhattan. MTA M60 Bus to Astoria Blvd & 111 st subway stations: | Operates from all terminals, to Subway station 111 St in Manhattan. Route: Airport (All terminals) - Astoria Blvd - Astoria Blvd Subway Station - Triboro Bridge - 125 st subway station - 111 St Subway Station (Manhattan). From either Subway station connect to points all over Manhattan. Timings: Buses run 7 days a week 0500-0130 at varying intervals. Cost: $2.50. Payable in cash or with a Metrocard. MTA Q23 Bus to Roosevelt Ave-Jackson Heights subway station: | Operates from the US Airways Terminal and the Central Terminal Building (CTB) only, to nearby Subway station Roosevelt Ave-Jackson Heights. From the Subway station connect to points all over city via lines E, F, G, R & 7. Note: At the subway station, the bus staion is downstairs. To Roosevelt Ave-Jackson Heights/82nd St subway station (N & W Lines): | The Q70 Bus runs to all terminals at LGA except the Marine Air Terminal. It runs 24 hrs a day. The Q47 bus runs to the Marine Air Terminal Only. |
To Astoria Blvd subway station (Line 7): | MTA bus M60 runs to all terminals at LGA 0500-0100 7 days a week. This subway station is convenient for trips to Manhattan. Total transfer time (including bus transfer) to 59th St Manhattan is ~50 mins. |
To Flushing Main St subway station (Line 7): | The Q48 Bus runs to all terminals at LGA 0500-0130 7 days a week. |
Using the subway: | Tickets are bought from the MetroCard machines in the station. A single journey anywhere in the system costs $2. A card with 6 journeys on costs $10. Cards are available for all-day travel or seasonal cards. Cards are then swiped through then entry turnstiles. |

The closest public transport to the New York Cruise Passenger Ship Terminal is the A, C or E train at the 50th St. station (at 8th Ave).
