By Taxi:
General: Metered Airport taxis are available 24 hrs a day. The taxi rank is at the front of the terminal building, a short walk from UK arrivals. Info from the taxi management company (0141 849 1111) and a list of charges is available at the taxi booking office next to the taxi rank, or at the axi information desk in arrivals.
Typical Costs: From the Airport to the City centre £20-22/15-30 mins. Expect to pay a little more for the trip back to the airport. To Paisley ~£7.

By Coach To Glasgow City Centre:
General: All public buses depart from the front of the terminal building. Charter coaches pick up and drop off passengers at the short stay coach park on Bute Road, next to Intl arrivals. Further Info: www.travelinescotland.com. The 9 bus stops are right in front of the terminal on the ground level.
Glasgow Shuttle to Glasgow City centre: There are frequent services to Glasgow city centre with free wi-fi on board.
Route: Airport (outside UK arrivals) - Bothwell St/Douglas St - Bothwell St/Wellington St - West George St/Hope St - W George St at Queen St Train Station - N Hanover St - Buchanan St Bus station. On the way back to the airport the route is Buchanan St Bus Station - N Hanover St/George St - South side of George Square outside the tourist information office - St Vincent St/Buchanan St - St Vincent St/Renfield St - Waterloo St - Airport. All bus stops are marked with a plane logo.
Timings: From the airport: Mon-Fri: 0500, 0530, 0600, then every 10-15 mins until 2200, 2220, 2240, 2300, then every hour until 0500. Saturday: 0500, 0530, 0555, then every 10-15 mins until 2140, 2200, then every hour until 0500. Sunday: 0500, 0530, 0600, 0630, 0700, then every 10-15 mins until 1940, then every 20 mins until 2300, then every hour until 0500. From Buchanan St Bus Station: Mon-Fri: 0500, 0530, 0600, then every 10-15 mins until 2300, 2330 then every hour until 0430. Sundays at 0620, 0720, 0825, 0935, 1035, then every 30 mins until 1835. Travel Times: To Paisley 10 mins, Dykebar Hospital 25 mins. Cost: Adult £0.80-1.90 depending on distance, child half price.
Arriva Bus 300 to Paisley, Erskine & Clydebank: Route: Paisley Central Rd - Gilmour St - Old Sneddon St - Glasgow Airport (Bus stop 6) - Inchinnan Business Park - Inchinnan - Bridgewater shopping centre - Erskine Hospital - Mountblow - Dalmuir West - Clydebank (Chalmers St Bus Station). Timings: Operates Mon-Sat 0605-2325 approximately hourly in both directions. Sundays every hour or so 0705-2325 Cost: Adult £1.20-2.60 depending on distance, child half price. Glasgow Flyer 600 to East Kilbride: Route: Airport (Stand 7) - Paisley (Gilmour St Station) - Glasgow Rd - Silverburn Centre - Thornliebank Centre - Clarkston Shops - Busby Centre - East Kilbride Bus Station (stand 5).
Timings: Leaves the airport Mon-Fri at 0650, 0755, 0900, then every hour until 1600, 1710, 1815 & (1910 Thursday only). Saturdays at every hour 0900-1600, 1710 & 1815. No Sundays service. Buses leave East Kilbride Mon-Fri at 0650, 0755, 0900, then every hour until 1600, 1710, 1815, 1910 & (2010 Thursday only). Saturdays at 0800, 1000, then every hour until 1600, 1710, 1815 & 1910.
Travel Time: Takes 55 mins to East Kilbride, 10 mins to Paisley. Cost: £2.60 one way off peak, £3.10 peak. Child day ticket £1.40. Student day ticket £2.45.
Paisley Rail Link: Buses run from Airport Bus stop 1 to Paisley Gilmour Street Station. Change there for trains to Glasgow Central, Gourock, Irvine, Ayr and Largs.
Bus #800 to Largs: Route: Airport (Stand 9) - Gauze St - Broomlands St - Ferguslie - Johnstone High St - Kilbarchan Rd - Cochranemill Rd - Howwood Main St - Beith, The Cross - Kilbirnie Main Rd - A760 - Largs Main St. Timings: Leaves the airport Mon-Sat only at 0905, 1105 then every hour until 1705. Buses also leave at 1805 & 1905 but terminate at Spateston. No Sunday service. Travel Time: To Ferguslie 20 mins, Howwood 42 mins & Largs 82 mins.
Scottish Citylink Bus #915 to Skye: Route: Airport (Bus stop 9) - Dumbarton - Luss - Tarbet - Ardlui - Crianlarich - Tyndrum - Bridge of Orchy - White Corries Ski Centre at Glencoe - Ballachulish - Onich - Corran - Fort William - Spean Bridge - Invergary - Dornie - Kyle of Lochalsh - Kyleakin - Broadford - Sconser - Sligachan - Portree. Not all buses stop at all destinations.
Timings: Most buses depart from Buchanan bus station in the city, but there are 2 departures at 1020 & 1520 directly from the airport, dropping off there again at 1346 & 1647 on its way back from Skye. Travel Times: To Glencoe, Fort William 3 hrs 20, Kyle of Lochalsh 5:20 & Portree 6:20.

By Train:
General: There is no station at the airport, however the stations below are reachable by bus:
From Paisley Station: Paisley's Gilmour Street railway station is the nearest to the airport. Just 2 miles from the terminal, it can be reached by taxi or by bus (see above). There are direct rail services from Paisley Gilmour Street to Glasgow Central, Ayr and Clyde Coast destinations. There are 8 trains per hour (Mon-Sat) and 5 per hour (Sun) from Gilmour Street to Glasgow Central. Through rail tickets from Glasgow Airport to Glasgow Central station, via Paisley Gilmour Street station, can be purchased from the SPT Travel Centre on the ground floor of the terminal building, adjacent to UK arrivals. For travel to any other station, the ticket should be surrendered at the Gilmour Street booking office and you will obtain a discount equal to the value of the bus ticket from the cost of a rail ticket to any station in Scotland. When travelling to the airport from any station in Scotland, you simply ask for a rail ticket to Glasgow Airport and this is then valid on the train to Paisley Gilmour Street and the Arriva bus service from Paisley to the airport.
From Glasgow Queen St Station: For transfer from Central station to either Queen Street station or Buchanan bus station, use bus service 398 which runs every 10 mins 0700-2200 Mon-Sat and 1000-2200 on Sun. This service is free on production of a valid rail ticket, or 50p to other users. When travelling to the airport from any station in Scotland, you simply ask for a rail ticket to Glasgow Airport and this is then valid on the train to Paisley Gilmour Street and the Arriva bus service from Paisley to the airport. Please note: Payment machines for Car Park 2 are at customer interface areas at ground floor and 2nd floor of the multi storey car park. Note that no payment machines are in the terminal building, and that payment should be made before returning to your car.
