By Taxi: To the city center ETB 60-80. Prices are higher at night. Takes 15-30 mins.

Public Buses: | Minibuses run into the city from the traffic circle on Bole Road, beyond an underpass, just outside the airport parking lot. Cost: ETB 2, takes ~30 mins. For the old town, ask for "Piazza". The minibuses parked in front of the terminal are available for charter only. |
Ethiopian Airlines Bus: | Ethiopian Airlines is reported to run a free shuttle bus into the city, however more recent reports suggest this no longer runs. |
Hotel Buses: | Major hotels, such as the Hilton & Sheraton, run shuttle buses for guests. |

Airport Tax: Arrival Tax: Some visas can be bought on arrival, but only in US dollars cash. Cost: US$ 20. There is a bank in arrivals, and one can use it while waiting for the luggage to come out. Departure Tax: Now included in the ticket price and not payable at the airport.
