By Road: 21 km/13 miles/20-30 mins from Cambridge.
By Bus: The Stagecoach C7 bus runs every 20 mins to Cambridge Bus Station.

Location: 6 km/4 Miles N of the City.

By Train: There is no train service to the airport. The nearest railway station is in Norwich City Centre some 5 miles away.

General: | Buses no longer stop at the airport terminal, but serve the Airport Park & Ride, nearby. Shuttle buses run from here to the terminal. |
Bus #27 to Norwich city centre: | Route: Horsford - Airport Park and Ride - Hellesdon - Anglia Square - Castle Meadow (stand W & St Stephen St, Stand D). On the way to the airport, the bus stops at Red Lion st, stand 2 instead of St Stephen St. Timings: Buses leave the Airport Park and Ride Sunday only every hour 0824-1824. Buses leave Castle Meadow, stand C in the city centre Sundays only every hour 0952-1852. On Mon-Sat the bus terminates in nearby Hellesdon. Travel Times: To Hellesdon 10 mins, Anglia Square 30 mins, City centre 40 mins & University 1 hour. |
Park and Ride Bus #603 to Norwich city centre: | Route: Airport Terminal - Anglia Square - Upper King St - Castle Meadow - Norwich Bus Station. Timings: Buses run Mon-Fri every 7-20 mins 0640-1930 (2030 on Thursday). Buses run on Saturdays every 7-20 mins 0700-1930. No Sunday Service. Cost: Travel to the city is included in the cost of parking at the Park and Ride. Before 1230 £3.30 per car. After 12.30 £1.60 per car. |

Money Services: ATM/Cash Machine in the terminal opposite Hertz. Bureau de Change/Foreign Exchange next door. There is a post/mail box outside the terminal.
Airport Tax: A departure tax (Airport Development Fee) has been introduced of £5 for adults and £1 for children (2-15 years). Available from a machine in the terminal. Payment by cash or credit card.
Airport Hotels: Holiday Inn Norwich North is within walking distance of the airport terminal. The Premier Inn is next to the Hilton.

Southend (SEN):
Location: 3 km/2 Miles N of Southend on Sea.
By Taxi: To Southend centre: 8 Mins. Tel AC Taxis 01702 334455. B & C Cars - Chauffeur Service Tel 01702 471400.
By Bus: No buses stop at the airport terminal itself, but several buses stop in Rochford Road, just in front. Arriva Buses #7, 8 & 9 run from here to the Bus Station in Southend, or to Rayleigh & Shoeburyness. Mon-Sat services are quite frequent, but only hourly on Sundays. Bus 721 runs from London to Southend.

National Express East Anglia trains to Southend & London: | National Express East Anglia Trains run from the airport station to London Liverpool Street station and to Southend Victoria Station. Timings: 3 trains per hour. Travel Time: Takes 50 mins to London Liverpool St Station, 40 mins to Stratford (near Olympic site) and 5 mins to Southend Victoria. |
C2C trains to London Fenchurch St: | C2C trains run to London Fenchurch Street Station every 15 or 20 mins to the train station in Southend city centre (not the airport). It takes 50-60 mins to get to the centre of London from Southern Central, and a further 10-15 minute walk from Southend Victoria station after getting off the train from Southend Airport. The better option is to use National Express trains (above). |

Car Parking: Parking in front of the terminal is free.
Notes: This airport calls itself, rather humourously: London Southend Airport. The new airport terminal is now open. Free wifi internet in the terminal.
Airport Hotels: A Holiday Inn will open in Summer 2012 next to the airport.
