Airport Overview: A huge airport divided into 5 terminals A to E.
Airline Locations: terminal A is for American Airlines. Terminal B is for American Eagle & United. Terminal C is for American Airlines. Terminal D is for International flights: Air Canada, American Airlines, American Eagle, British Airways, Korean, Lufthansa, Mexicana, Ryan Airways, Sun Country Airlines & Taca. terminal E is for AirTran, Alaska Airlines, America West, ATA, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Mesa Airlines, Midwest, Northwest & US Airways.
Transfer between Terminals: There are 2 systems to connect the terminals: Terminal Link is available Landside (ie before security) and is a free shuttle van that runs every 10 mins 0600-2200. Outside these times call (972) 574 5465 or 4-5465 from a courtesy phone in bag reclaim. Pick-up is outside baggage claim. Skylink is airside (ie once past security) and is an elevated train the runs every 2 mins. Travel is free.

By Bus: Bus #310 runs Mon-Fri 0600-2300 from the Remote North Parking at the airport to North Irving Transit Center for $1.25. Bus #408 runs 7 days a week from the Remote South Parking at the airport to Medical/Marken Center commuter station in Dallas via South Irving Station for $1.25.

| Trinity Railway Express (TRE): | There is now a train service called the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) that operates between central Fort Worth and central Dallas and allows access to/from DFW airport from both cities and several other mid-cities. There are also shuttles that transport passengers between the DFW airport train station and the various terminals at the airport. Route: There is one line that runs from Fort Worth in the west, past the airport and onto Dallas in the East. The sequence is as follows: Fort Worth T & P Station - Fort Worth Intermodal Transportation Center - Richland Hills - Hurst/Bell - CentrePort/DFW Airport - West Irving - South Irving - Medical/Market Center - Victory Station - Dallas Union Station. Timings: Trains run from CentrePort/DFW Airport heading East towards Dallas Mon-Fri every 20-40 mins 0529-1837, 1934, 2020, 2119 & 2305. Saturdays every 90 mins or so 0733-2308. No Sunday Service. Trains run from CentrePort/DFW Airport heading West towards Ft Worth every Mon-Fri every 20-60 mins 0604-2245. Saturdays every 90 mins or so 0853-2257. No Sunday Service. Trains run from Fort Worth heading East towards the Airport & Dallas Mon-Fri every 40-60 mins 0455-2232. Saturdays every 90 mins or so 0825-2230. No Sunday Service. Trains run from Downtown Dallas heading West towards the Airport & Ft Worth every Mon-Fri every 20-60 mins 0616-2215. Saturdays every 90 mins or so 0822-2350. No Sunday Service. Travel Times: From CentrePort/DFW Airport to Dallas ~30 mins. To Ft Worth ~30 mins. Access to the Airport: There are 3 buses that run from CentrePort/DFW Airport station: ◊DFW Airport Shuttle connects the TRE with terminals at DFW Airport. TRE passengers travelling from CentrePort/DFW Airport Station to the airline terminals should use Remote South buses on the NW end of the rail station platform. Buses depart the station every ~15 mins. At Remote South, passengers connect to one of 3 buses, serving either Terminals A and C, Terminals B and E or Terminal D. Cost: Adult single $2.50. | Off-Airport Rental Car Providers: | ALAMO/National, Dollar, HERTZ, AVIS, Thrifty, Budget, Enterprise, ADVANTAGE, •E-Z Rent a Car (972) 574-3360 & PAYLESS. After collecting baggage, follow the Rental Car signs throughout all terminals to the designated pick-up area on the lower level of the terminal and board the Rental Car Shuttle Bus. This shuttle serves all car rental companies and takes you to the Rental Car Center, which is near the S entrance of DFW Airport, almost 5 miles from the Terminal. Rental Car Shuttle Buses depart every 5 mins from the lower level of each terminal and reach the Rental Car Center in ~10 mins. There are no rental car facilities at the terminals. You will receive return info from your car rental company with directions to the Airport's south entrance. From there, exit onto Rental Car Drive. Follow the Rental Car Return signs to the rental car garage and proceed to the upper level. From here, different buses serve each terminal, so make sure you get on the correct one. There is a gas station close to the Rental car Center. |
Car Parking: Terminal Parking: 30 mins $1, 2 hrs $2, 3 hrs $3, 6 hrs $5, 24 hrs $17. each extra day $17. Express Parking: Covered parking $11 per day. Uncovered $10 per day.
Transfer between Terminals: An automated Airport Train transit system runs from terminal to terminal and to and from the Remote Parking for Terminal B. All Airport Trains are designed with wide doors for easy entry and operate 24 hours a day. The Train routes are color coded to show the most direction route to your destination. The stations are located in each terminal at the lower level. Follow Airport Train signs to reach your station. The Airport Train is not wheelchair accessible. Car Park B is for long term parking: 0-30 mins free, 3 hrs $3, 6 hrs $5, 24 hrs $7. Each extra day $7.
