By Bus:
General:	The bus situation at Reykjavik is an odd and very expensive system. Buses all run to the BSI, a bus terminal located half-way between the Domestic airport and Reykjavik city centre. It is still a 15-20 minute walk to the city centre of the domestic airport from there, and no buses or shuttles seem to operate to either. Taxis or walking are the only option, and a taxi will cost ~ISK 600 for the 5 minute ride! Reykjavik Excursions claim there is a drop off service at hotels and locations throughout the city, but I was unable to obtain such a service.
Flybus operated by Reykjavik Excursions:	This the main transfer service for passengers between the Intl Airport at Keflavík and Reykjavík City. Route: Operates with request stops in Harnarfjörður (Hotel Viking) & Garđabær (Aktu-Taktu) in the outskirts of the city.
	Onward Connections: Reykjavik Excursions offers complimentary drop off service to selected hotels/guesthouses in Reykjavik for all Flybus passengers. The drop off service does however not include all hotels in Reykjavik, but all of the major ones. For this service passengers board smaller buses at BSÍ bus terminal that take you to the hotel. Taxis are also available at BSÍ bus terminal.
	Timings: Buses leave the airport, right outside the arrivals side 35-45 mins after all flight arrivals. Buses leave the BSI in the city daily at 0445, 0500, 0515, 0530, 0545, 0600 (Weekends only), 0645 (Mon-Fri only), 1000 (Mon, Thur, Fri & Sun), 1200 (not Saturdays), 1300, 1330, 1400, 1430, 1500 & 1620 (Mon, Wed & Fri only). For latest timings see Flybus website. Travel Time: takes 35-55 mins.
	Cost: ISK 1200 one way. 50% reduction for 12-15 years old, free for under 12's. Buy tickets before boarding the bus. Contact: Tel (+354) 562 1011.
Blue Lagoon Bus:	The Blue Lagoon is a relaxing open-air spa utilising the hot geothermal water from underground. It is SE of Reykjavík near the fishing village of Grindavík on the Reykjanes peninsula. Departures: Daily at 1630 from Keflavik Intl Airport. Price: ISK 3800, entrance fee to the Blue Lagoon included. Reykjavik Excursions operates bus tours from Keflavik Airport to the Blue Lagoon. These tours can be booked online at www.re.is.
SBK Keflavik Town Bus:	A local stopping bus runs from the nearby town of Keflavik into Reykjavik. Timings: Buses depart the bus station in Keflavik town Mon-Fri at 0645, 0915, 1200, 1600 & 1930. Saturdays and Holidays at 1200, 1600 & 1930. Buses leave Reykjavik Mon-Fri at 0815, 1030, 1430,1800 & 2100. Saturdays at 1430, 1800 & 2100. Takes ~ 1 hour. Cost: ~ISK 900. Tel 420 6000.
